Meet Hannah

I’m based in the beautiful mountain town of Killarney, QLD. I’m someone who deeply values connection, genuine conversation and creating moments that make people feel truly seen, heard and celebrated.

My journey to becoming a celebrant wasn’t the path I originally imagined for myself. In October 2021, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis after experiencing ongoing symptoms.

After my diagnosis, life changed significantly. Due to the impact of my illness and ongoing symptoms, I was no longer able to continue working in the way I once had. It was an incredibly challenging season filled with treatments, uncertainty and learning how to navigate a completely different version of life.

At the beginning of last year, one simple conversation unexpectedly changed everything. A close friend and I were chatting about her upcoming wedding when I casually said, “It would be so lovely to marry you.” Without hesitation, she replied, “Well… why don’t you?”

That small moment quietly sparked this entire journey.

I was nervous stepping into something so new, but as I began studying and learning more about celebrancy, I completely fell in love with it. I realised I could create ceremonies that felt warm, personal and relaxed. Ceremonies where couples felt fully supported and never questioned whether their day was in safe hands.

While my MS does mean I need to be intentional with the number of weddings I take on, it also means every ceremony I commit to receives my whole heart, energy and care. I know how precious life’s meaningful moments are, and it is such an honour to stand alongside couples as they begin this next chapter together.

When I’m not working on ceremonies, you’ll usually find me soaking up the quiet beauty of country life with my beautiful family here beneath the mountains.

I truly believe this path found me for a reason, and I cannot wait to help create a ceremony that feels authentically and unapologetically you.
